Galilee College was founded in January
1984 as the College of Professional
Accountancy (COPA). A year later, COPA became Bahamas Business College (BBC) to expand its offerings beyond
the accounting field. BBC became registered with the Bahamas
Ministry of Education in 1986, and changed its name to Galilee College in 1995
to become a member of the consortium of the Galilee Institutions. In its nineteen years of existence, hundreds
of students have passed through its doors, and hold positions such as;
Attorneys, Certified Public Accountants, Managers, Bankers, Teachers, Bankers,
Computer Programmers & Technicians, Ministers, Police & Defense Force
Officers, Contractors, etc. Former students are employed in the U.S and the
Bahamas, in the private sector, as well as with the Government.
