Secretarial Science
Students
enrolled in the Secretarial Science Program are encouraged to become Certified
Professional Secretaries. The CPS designation is earned through a unique
certification program for secretaries and other administrative support staff
that goes beyond a simple evaluation of levels of knowledge and competency to:
1. Provide a body of knowledge for future use, 2. Encourage professional
development, 3. Provide a means to keep abreast of change, and 4. Ensure a
quality scope and knowledge and professionalism that gives a winning edge.
