TELEPHONE & CELLPHONE POLICY

Telephone Policy

Students are not allowed to use the office telephone except in extreme emergencies. However, students have access to the public phone system during breaks or after school. Students must secure a permission slip from their teacher and present it to a administrator. Parents are discouraged from calling their children except for emergencies. In case of an emergency, the administration will take the message to the student or call him to the phone. Incidental messages may be left with an administrator to be delivered to the child at the end of the school day. Likewise, teachers will not be called to the phone except for emergencies. Messages will be relayed and the call returned at a break or other convenient times.

Cell Phone Policy

The use of Cell Phones and pages are prohibited on the campus of Galilee Academy. Any cell phone seen by WILL be confiscated. Because cell phones are prohibited, Galilee
Academy will not entertain any report of a loss or missing cell phone.
